Parazap Padxpress Anti-Itch Ceramic is a Class II medical device indicated for insect bites from bees, wasps, bumblebees, hornets, ants and spiders, as well as sucking insects such as mosquitoes, horseflies, bedbugs, fleas and augusts.
It uses heat to neutralize allergenic substances (histamine) above a certain temperature. Padxpress features a small ceramic head that applies heat to the bite. The heat has a soothing effect on the pain receptors (nociceptors) at the treatment site. The soothing effect reduces itching and promotes healing.
