Essity Leukomed T 5 Sterile Transparent Adhesive Films 15 x 20cm are semi-permeable films suitable for :
- fixation and maintenance of drains, catheters and cannulas,
- the waterproof covering of bandages for showering or aquatic activities,
- waterproof and transparent protection of dry acute wounds (sutures).
Their transparent polyurethane support is impermeable to water, bacteria and viruses (possible aquatic activities, limited risk of infection), air and water vapour. Thus, maceration of the skin is limited. They are very conformable. Their acrylic adhesive mass offers high skin tolerance. In addition, they are radio-transparent.
